Sri Nibong Cafe~

Taadarrr.....it's ads time again! For this round, I'm going to introduce Chu Char at Sri Nibong Cafe. If you are heading from Georgetown following Jalan Sultan Ismail, just go straight all the way until you bypass the traffic light at the junction of Sungai Nibong Terminal Bus and further to the Sungai Nibong stele. The first coffee shop facing the main road is your destination. There are also a famous Koay Teow Soup and Ampang Yong Taufu stall conquered the morning session in this coffee shop. The little boss of this chu char stall was on the press recently, interviewed by Kwong Hua Jit Poh. I'm coming along my parents and sister to give our support.

Their big boss introduce their menu in a very funny way, bring us into laughter. We ordered most of their signature dish for our first try.

The first serving was Salty Duck Egg with Minced Pork Taofu. The gravy of the salty egg is aromatic, minced pork gave a great top off to the dish. Pretty mum and me fond of this creative cuisine.

Thai Style Spicy Chicken with crispy outer layer, coat with spicy and soury sauce just caught dad and sis taste buds.

Sambal bamboo shoots blends well with the spices. You can even judge it by the look.

Teow Chew Steam "Ang Sai" was my favourite of the night. Soury sze chuan vege, spicy chilli paddy, tender taofu and fresh fish, perfect match!

Add-on to our dinner, the little boss present us his homemade pudding which is FOC. It taste good in pineapple flavour though we thought that it was mango pudding on the first sight. =D
We suggested him to put the pudding filling into a smaller and deeper mould, so that it will turned out to be a cute little pudding tower. It will then caught both look and taste itself.

This fulling and yummylicious dinner just cost RM50 for 4 of us, and of course specially thanks to the little boss a.k.a. hubby of yih wen for giving us the discount! =D
