Island Cafe

好久没有介绍吃的了。Island Cafe是在槟岛青草巷新开张的茶餐厅，正确位置是在中华小学（更正：中学）的正对面。那天我们总共点了五样食物。
I have stopped for a while in introducing food in penang that we went for recently. It's time for me to continue. Island Cafe is one of the new opening coffee shop located at Green Lane, Penang. It was just opposite of Zhong Hua Primary School(Correction: Secondary School). We have ordered 5 meals for our lunch of that day.

第一样是我点的宏图面。
My order-->Hong Tu Noodle


接着，是爸爸点的砂褒面。
Dad's order-->Claypot Noodle


宏图面的味道还不错，不过我觉得稍微淡了一点，我加上了一些酱油，味道就刚刚好。宏图面类似在吉隆坡一带卖的卤面，是有加上黑醋的，不过面条不是一般卤面用的黄面，而是伊面，所以是带着比较硬的口感。卤面的黄面就是比较滑顺的那一种，各有千秋。听说他们卖的面线糊不错，可能下次可以再去试一试。
Hong Tu noodle taste not bad, but I add in some soya sauce because I like thicker flavour, and it just taste good after that. This type of noodle alike Loh Mee in KL area, both of them added rice vinegar, but they have different types of noodle. Hong Tu noodle uses Yee Mee which is more crispy and Loh Mee uses yellow noodle which is smoother. Both brings out different characteristic. We might go back for their "Mi Sua Kor" which is recommended.

妈妈和妹妹都点了云吞面，这。。。我就不多加介绍了。大家应该懂原因吧！嘻！
Both pretty mum and sis ordered wan tan mee, but I probably not going to comment. I guess you might know the reason...lol


我们也点了猪肠粉，蛮不错的。只是虾膏好像少了点，如果虾膏和辣椒都多一点就更好！
We also ordered a plate of chee cheong fan as our side dishes. It is not bad but we would like it more if they give more for the "he kor"(prawn paste) and chilli. Hehe....we just love chilli.


在要离开咖啡店的时候，听到隔壁桌的aunty说炒果条很不错，他们整桌都是特地来吃炒果条而已哦，那么我那里可以错过呢？哈哈
所以我们也叫了一盘。味道是蛮好的，只不过我觉得稍咸了一点。
Just before we are going to leave, I heard the aunty from the next table flatter on the char koay teow, they purposely came for it. So definitely I'm not going to miss it. lol
We ordered one plate as well. Taste good but a little bit salty for our liking.


总结来说，这里的食物还可以。如果平时想不到要到哪里用餐，可以试试这里吧！
Overall, we gave an average to this coffee shop. It's still worth for a try if you can't think of a place to dine in.
